Hi, I'm Robyn
Lover of Real Life and Real Love
Hi, I’m Robyn – a Lincolnshire-based wedding and family photographer capturing real, unposed moments.
In 2020, I launched Real Life by Robyn alongside my career as a midwife in the NHS. My passion lies in documenting genuine emotions - those fleeting, in-between moments that truly reflect your story.
Whether it's the joy of a wedding day, the tenderness of a newborn's first days, or the laughter during a family gathering, I aim to preserve these memories with authenticity and heart.
What I Believe In

Inclusivity is at the heart of my work. I proudly support and celebrate LGBTQ+ couples, ensuring every love story is told with respect and authenticity.

I believe in a relaxed, natural photography style. No stiff poses - just real connections and heartfelt moments. I love to be calm and present, blending into the background so you can feel truly at ease.

Kindness doesn't have to be loud - it's in the small things, the way we show up for each other. It costs nothing, but means everything. Kindness is a way of slowing down and saying: you matter.
Behind the Lens
My journey started in the NHS, where I still work as a midwife. Supporting families through life’s most important moments has shaped how I show up as a photographer too - with care, calmness, and a deep respect for your story.

I picked up my camera during lockdown, craving a creative outlet. What began as a quiet escape soon turned into something really special. Whether it’s the buzz before the ceremony or the little glances during a family shoot, I’m there to capture it with warmth and intention.

At home, you’ll usually find me out walking with Gwen (my dog and sidekick), sipping strong coffee, or dancing in the kitchen to cheesy tunes. I’ve got a soft spot for birdwatching - it’s my little slice of quiet, and there’s nothing quite like spotting a barn owl in the wild.
I’m also a lifelong lover of sport (especially football) and I love the way it brings people together - just like a good wedding does. I love to travel, adore a dog at a wedding and I’m always up for discovering new places and stories.

I’m a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do. Whoever you are, whoever you love - you’re welcome here.

Photography, to me, isn’t about poses. It’s about the quiet, fleeting, joyful moments that show exactly who you are. If that sounds like your vibe, I’d love to hear from you.
